Music composer-filmmaker James Vasanthan’s maiden directorial venture Vaanavil Vaazhkai is releasing this week-end. The high point is that the movie has 17 songs. It is interestingly it is after several decades that a movie has so many songs and all the numbers have been sung by the artistes being part of the cast. Says James Vasanthan, ‘Vaanavil Vaazhkai is a college fiesta. This is a musical film where the actors in the films sing, act and perform. It was my dream to direct a musical since college days’.
