All eyes on Jyothika

Jyothika was back on big screen after a gap of eight years. She plays the lead role in her comeback venture titled 36 Vayadhinilae, which is a remake of Malayalam hit How Old are You.

Directed by Roshan Andrews, it has music by Santosh Narayanan.

At a grand function held in Chennai, the first copy of the audio was released by director Bala.

Speaking at the audio launch, Bala said that he is a great fan of Jyothika and wanted to come all the way to see her performance onj screen.

Suriya and Jyothika also spoke on the occasion. Who’s who of Tamil cinema including producers, directors, actors and actresses attended the event.

Interesingly Suriya’s family members attended the event..

Speaking on the occasion, Suriya, said, ‘Jyothika had stayed away from acting ever since her marriage eight years ago. But I never knew that she had the interest to appear before the camera’.

When the story of 36 Vayadhinilae was narrated to me, I saw a spark in Jo’s eyes and hence agreed to her request to act in the film’.
